N-COV  OUTBREAK




The whole world has been in despair since the outbreak of the N-coronavirus in China, which had been traced to have occured due to consumption of food from the Wuhan sea food market in China.Scientific researches shows that the first case was observed from people who had visited the market lately.This led to the lockdown of Wuhan  and it's market by the Chinese government to restrain the epidermic flow. So far there have been over one thousand cases of n-cov in China.Meanwhile China is not the only country affected by this deadly virus. Medical centers and bodies in other countries has received cases of this virus.Below are that outline of affected countries.


Some countries are thereby taking measures to avoid further spread of this disease. The United States has closed room for migration for some countries in which the federal republic of Nigeria is amongst.
Scientists all over the world have been working to obtain reasonable response to this menace which seems to be in progress.


Mode of transmission

The coronavirus has a crown-like shape which is the reason for its  Coronname.The virus has  been said to be existing in some animals like the bat,snake and pigs.These virus may be non-parasitic in this animals but in humans the reverse is the case.

There can be transmitted through fluid contacts with an infected person to open areas of the body such as the eye,nose and open wounds.


Prevention
Most countries that has received cases of this virus urges her citizens to engage in these preventive measure to stop epidermic flow of the disease.

preventive measures to be taken are we follows:
  • Avoiding travelling to regions affected by the outbreak.
  • Washing hands at least every thirty minutes.
  • Avoiding consumption of animal such as pigs,bats and snakes.
  • Putting on medical face mask if you are at the region of outbreak.

Symptoms
The symptoms of the coronavirus ranges from mild to normal few days after infection.Symptoms are experienced  within two to fourteen days after infection.its symptoms are as below.

  • Fever.
  • Cough.
  • Shortness of breath.

Treatment
Lately there is no confirmed medication to cure patients infected by this virus but a doctor by name Dr.kriengsak restores hope by stating that he's 71 year old, infected patient has shown signs of recovery after being admistered some ARV drugs like oseltamir, lopinavir and ritonivir with some anti-flu drugs.But  this is yet to be proven ,as scientist engage in further researches.
